Did the outpouring of the Spirit create unity at Pentecost or did the unity result in the effectiveness of Pentecost? The unity preceded the power, just as the oneness of the Body today will precede in the greater works. Let the unity of the Spirit be our dedication.

Our perfection and the power in our ministries cannot be attained as an individual effort, but rather it is a result of spiritual oneness in the Body. No one makes it by his own efforts alone, but he enters the fullness of his ministry and maturity through the travailing faith and ministry of his brothers.
