The experience of the Israelites during the time of the exodus at Mount Sinai when they received God’s covenant is similar to the experience of the believers on the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2 when they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Today, at this Feast Of Pentecost, we are believing for an experience of the Holy Spirit that ends our separation and isolation from the Word written on tablets of stone and literally infuses that Word into each of us personally. The Word made flesh in us means that we can each individually say, “He is my God, and His Word is mine.”
