We No Longer Tolerate The Accuser

Satan used to stand before the Father day and night, continually accusing us (Revelation 12:10) and wanting God to destroy us. However, the Father loves us, even as He loved Christ (John 17:23), and the Father’s love for us made Him incapable of seeing what Satan was saying about us. Heaven could no longer tolerate Satan, and he was cast out of heaven and thrown down to earth. Now, Satan accuses each of us day and night about ourselves and about each other. As we take on the Father’s love for ourselves and for each other, we will no longer be able to tolerate the accuser’s lies about us and about our brother, and we will throw Satan out from this earth. What a song it will be when we sing that the ruler of this world has been cast out, his reign has ended, and the earth has been freed from Satan and his deception!

Our Commission To End Satan’s Reign On Earth

The Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world with a specific purpose, “that He might destroy the works of the devil” (I John 3:8). In John 17:18, Jesus states that as the Father sent Him into the world, He is also sending us into the world. It is time for the Body of Christ to awaken to this commission and to execute the words of Christ: “now the ruler of this world shall be cast out” (John 12:31).

We Repent Of Our Reluctance

We know that Christ defeated Satan, but we know that we are the ones to execute that judgment. Satan is free to rule the world until the Body of Christ decides that his reign is over. Now, as Christ did, we face a decision: will we be the instruments God is looking for to do His will? Or will we hesitate and withdraw? Today, we repent of our reluctance. We get rid of the flinch. We say, “Use me, God. I am Your instrument in the earth.”
