Book III of the Psalms (Psalms 73–89) contains psalms which are mainly historical. This message examines the “sure mercies of David,” promised in the 89th Psalm and shows how they are related to us through the son of David, the Lord Jesus Christ. (44 1/2 min.)

The first part of this tape gives an excellent overall survey of the Psalms, showing the authors and various classifications of the Psalms. The study of the five books of Psalms is essential to a serious Bible student. There are more references to both the First and Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Psalms than there are in any other book of the Bible. In this message choice psalms are expounded from Book I (Psalms 1–41). (47 min.)
