THE HUMBLE LOVE

The world has a type of love that is still competitive between husband and wife, parents and children, brothers and sisters. The Lord would devastate that competitiveness and teach us that true love is humble. “It vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.” We love Him so we serve Him. When God brings a revelation word to a man he faces two alternatives. First, if he accepts the revelation he must become dedicated to walk in that revelation. The other alternative is his refusal to walk in his revelation and he automatically submits to a measure of deception. The cross is involved in dedication and the disciple “dies” upon the word he receives. Deception will also lead to a death but that is a total spiritual death. (31 1/2 min.)

Christ became our bond servant and thus became our Lord. In the Kingdom there is no authority that does not serve. The servant dedication in the New Testament is the climate in which the church expanded. This lesson is basic and apostolic teaching and is essential for everyone in the Walk. You must come to accept yourself as a bond servant of Jesus Christ; with all of your needs and all of your problems you belong to Him, and you accept Him as absolute Lord over your life. That acceptance is basic. Then you accept what He says about you. You cannot honor Him as Lord and refuse the prophecies that are over you. You start on a basis of absolute nothingness and give it to the Lord, and then He begins to bless you and create Himself in you. (53 min.)
