THE GOAT OF REMOVAL–ATONEMENT

The Day of Atonement has deep spiritual significance for us as it heralds the removal of sin and demonic oppression in the days of the Kingdom. The Passover speaks of personal salvation. Yes, God made the provision by the blood of His Son to remove our sin from us as far as the East is from the West. OUR ALTAR-TABLE / THE PREPARED WORSHIPER

Out of Print

Release #: RN-09-A0-09-R

This cassette tape contained the following 2 messages by John Robert Stevens.

OUR ALTAR-TABLE

This message is taken from Lesson 10 in the manual, Worship. At the altar of worship, we partake of Christ, our sacrifice. This is our privilege because we have been called to be priests of the Lord. As we stand before Him, His Word is like a sword which cuts us open, that we may be cleansed and walk as living sacrifices. (28 1/2 min.)

Scriptures: Heb. 13:10-21; 4:12-16; (Lev. 2:7-10); (Lev. 6:25-26); (Lev. 4:12); (Rom. 12:1)
Topics: Worship; Altar; Sacrifice; (Cleansing); (Appropriation); (Identification)
Series: Worship
Rated: Foundational Teaching, For Mature Sons

THE PREPARED WORSHIPER

In this day many people approach the Lord too casually. In the Old Testament elaborate procedures were followed for the cleansing of the priests before they entered into the presence of the Lord. Though we have left the days of legalistic bondage, God still requires that we make a personal preparation, so that we may come before Him with clean hands and a pure heart. (27 1/2 min.)

Scriptures: James 4:7-10; Heb. 10:19-27; Exo. 20:22-26; Psa. 24:3-6; Psa. 26:6-8; (I Cor. 7:5); (Psa. 66:18)
Topics: Preparation; Cleansed; Worship; (Abstinence); (Fear of the Lord)
Series: Worship
