There is a need for a tape like this which takes beginners in a walk with God and imparts to them perception concerning God’s demand for spiritual maturity. It is the type of message you could hear many times and say, “This is where I came in.” The leadership that promotes growth and maturity is defined. (55 1/2 min.)

This cassette tape contained the following 2 messages by John Robert Stevens.

ENCOURAGING THE FATHER’S FAMILY
January 5, 1978 Thursday A.M. Shiloh

This is a good homey message to the family to help everyone in ministering. First we must have an opportunity, but we also need encouragement. Every member of the Body can do much to create for one another the opportunities to minister and we can certainly encourage every member of the Father’s family to move out. (23 1/2 min.)

Scriptures: Gal. 6:9-10; I Pet. 4:7-11; (Matt. 24:37)
Topics: Family Spirit; Love, in the Body; Ministering; Encouragement; Self-Interest
Rated: Foundational Teaching

THE HEAVENLY FATHER’S SEARCH
January 6, 1978 Friday A.M. Shiloh

How deep is the relationship between worship and intercession? Intercession becomes abortive instead of creative, it becomes defensive instead of authoritative when deep worship is missing. Worship puts intercession focus on the Lord and His Kingdom. Without worship intercession tends to focus on needs and tends to battle for victory without deep awareness of His perfect victory. Here is a basic essential apostolic word for the Kingdom now. (33 1/2 min.)

Scriptures: John 4:23,24; (Job 1–41); (Matt. 5:19); (Matt. 8:29); (Acts 19:15)
Topics: Worship; God’s Perfect Will, Seek; Intercession; Warfare; Lordship; (Immunity); (Waiting on the Lord)
Series: Expository

FROM SWORDS TO PLOWS
February 7, 1974 Thursday A.M. Val.

Reverse gravity! Create the atmosphere of miracles. Change from the downward pull of the flesh to the upward pull of the spirit. This is the way of Kingdom prayer, Kingdom power, the Kingdom dominion over the world, the flesh, and the devil. (58 min.)

FROM SWORDS TO PLOWS (concluded)
February 14, 1974 Thursday A.M. Val.

In the transition between the Church and the Kingdom we are called upon to alternate between the Church and Kingdom ministry. Do we wield the sword in spiritual warfare that concludes the conflict of this age? Or do we plow the fertile ground that yields the vast harvest of the Kingdom age? Swords or plows?
