In this feast we are commanded to be “altogether joyful.” How can we be joyful? We must be honest with ourselves and humble ourselves and with a hungry heart sustain our hope in God. And there are other ingredients for the formula for joy. The hearers of the word are always joyful. This formula, based on God’s unchangeable laws, will always be valid. This is an important message for beginners and a heart searcher for all. (36 min.)

God’s formula for joyful sons is simple and effective. First He becomes real to us, then we become aware of our need and we repent. Our repentance opens the door to a greater revelation of the Lord. The cycle is from the cross to the greater joy full of glory. The dealings of the Lord cause our capacity for God to increase. This word completes “the formula for joy.” (35 1/2 min.)
