Exodus 12 remains the classic story of slaves who would quickly forget the grace of God that delivered them from the bitter days. Yearly they ate a lamb roasted with the fire symbolic of judgment, with bitter herbs. We also feast upon the Lamb who bore our judgments and we do not forget the bitter days that have passed or “the pit from which we were dug.” (32 min.)
