We need to appropriate a richer diet. Manna is for the wilderness. The corn of the land is for Canaan. Water is for the time of struggle but wine is for the foundational ministry. For the Timothys the time of “oft infirmities” must give way to the time of apostolic immunity and fulfillment. The message is timely for all ministries.

THE FEAST OF OBEDIENCE

When Christ did the will of the Father He called it, “A meat that ye know not of.” We, too, feast on the fullness of Christ to others. The obedient heart is a full heart and it ministers with psalms and a rich heart melody to the Lord. (Col. 3:16)
