Atonement: Our Promise Of Sanctification
As believers, we have experienced salvation and the forgiveness of sin. However, there is a promise of entire sanctification yet to be fulfilled at the Day of Atonement in which the sin nature of the believer is eliminated. Tonight, the Lord identified our need so that we will contend for this experience to be ours.

You Can’t Work Up Sanctification
The Day of Atonement is a day of Sabbath rest. We stop trying to work up our sanctification, and with faith, we appropriate the provision that has already been made available through Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection. By this faith, we give the Lord the reward of His suffering.
