BASIC BALANCES AND CORRECT EMPHASIS–PART 7
August 12, 1979 Sunday P.M. Iowa

The emphasis of the Kingdom and its great authority involved is balanced with the minimizing of position. Finally we see an elder as another sheep, but with a shepherd’s heart, and we see that apostles were not a religious aristocracy but the Lord’s gift to His people. The devastation of God’s dealings deposes us from the illusionary position we thought we had but never existed. (39 1/2 min.)

Scriptures: (James 4:6); (Matt. 18:3); (Heb. 10:10); (Zech. 2:5); (Luke 21:28)
Topics: Devastation; Humility; Kingdom Church; Shepherding; Channel; Position; Insecurity
Series: Balance and Emphasis; The Victory Siege; New Elders-Shepherds and Sheeps
Rated: For Mature Sons, JRS Selected Messages
