Family — The Key To Retaining The Promise Of God

The apostle James, prophesying out of the book of Joel, speaks of an outpouring of the Spirit that is yet to come. There is going to be a moment when God pours out His Spirit to bring forth the precious fruit of the earth, but it will not happen until the Church becomes a family. God promised Abraham that through his family all the families of the earth would be blessed. Family is the atmosphere that God is waiting for. It is the vessel that can retain the outpouring of the Spirit that will release the mature sons of God. We give ourselves to becoming a family, and we continue to pray and prophesy that the whole Body of Christ recognizes the importance of family.
