FASTING FOR THE BRIDEGROOM
When the bridegroom is taken away, the bride fasts and prepares and adorns herself for the day of the husband’s return. So we are also purifying ourselves and living in expectation of our Lord’s return. Our fasting now anticipates the feasting to come at the marriage supper of the Lamb. (52 min.)
