We view the things that happen to us–circumstances, chastenings, problems–as restrictions upon our lives. We may view the sabbath, or tithes, or submission in the home or in the church, as legalistic restraints. God is showing us that it is for our sakes and for our supreme blessedness that these things are laid upon us. (47 min.)
