The first objective in a worship service is to obtain the oneness of the people. The second is to enter progressively into the worship. The goal should always be to explode the prophecies and exhortations with great prophetic force, so that much is created, much is communicated–a way of blessing and impartation. Let the blessings roll! (42 min.)

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORSHIP LEADERS, SERIES 103, LESSON 3 REVIEW AND DIRECTIVES (SHILOH)
August 17, 1977 Wednesday P.M. Iowa

Worship is both a simple and a very complete entity in our walk with God. We must obtain a double awareness if we would lead the people of God into His presence. And that awareness is an awareness of God and an awareness of the people and where they stand. You must lead the people progressively into His royal and holy presence. We must not countenance dead ends and detours on the way. We must shun any tedious wind-downs and keep the services flexible so that confusion and opposition will not upset the old ship “Zion.” (14 min.)

Pilot, before you take off, you must file your flight plan. Tell those people where you are, where you’re going and how high you’re going to fly. Let them be prepared in mind and spirit to the mighty thrust of faith in their worship that will bring them into the very presence of the Lord. Here are a number of simple suggestions for the pilot who would fly high with every hungry and devout worshiper. (23 min.)
