From Life To Life
This Word ends everything of confusion surrounding Marilyn’s passing. It is not as though our prayers were not answered; they were. Marilyn is very much alive and functioning where the Lord wants her. We don’t grieve as others who have no hope. Our understanding of death is different from the world’s. From the moment of Christ’s resurrection, the door was open to transition from life to life in the first-fruits resurrection. Jesus spoke of His death as the Son of Man being glorified. He compared death to a grain of wheat that falls to the ground and brings forth fruit. The outer shell houses life, and as that life transforms and matures, the shell is pushed away. No one grieves over the shell while beholding the new life. Now it is time for us to mature; our grieving is the drive that motivates us to relate by the spirit to the Lord and the Cloud of Witnesses, to be the spiritual people God called us to be.
