Jesus Christ must be seen on the plane of spirit as the risen, glorified Son of God, not as He was hanging on the cross. Spiritual things cannot be conveyed by physical images or idols. This message explains why we do not have images of the crucifixion in or on our churches. This message is based upon lesson 44, “The Cross,” from The First Principles.
