Share What We Have
May 3, 2000 Wednesday 8:00 AM Jerusalem, Israel

God has shaped and molded us as a people and as a culture in relative isolation from other believers. Now, God is requiring that we have the maturity and willingness to share with others what He has shown us by His Word. During this tour of Israel, we take a step of faith to do this. This meeting occurred during a tour of Israel, April – May, 2000.

Communion: Our Covenant
May 5, 2000 Friday 11:50 AM Jerusalem, Israel

Following a lecture by Goran Larsson, we took Communion as a sign of the covenant that God made with us as Christians. We rejoice and give thanksgiving at how God has grafted us in, through Christ, to be included into His covenant with Abraham. This meeting occurred during a tour of Israel, April – May, 2000.

Scriptures: Matt. 26:26-29; John 8:32

Unique, But Not Isolated
May 16, 2000 Tuesday 8:30 AM Jerusalem, Israel

In this Word and question-and-answer session Gary speaks of how we are seeking that balance between openness through love to other peoples, which includes everyone, and a strong adherence to what God has made us as a unique people. We will not compromise who we are as a people but we will also not isolate ourselves, and thereby exclude the rest of the diverse peoples of God. This balance will require a humility on our part that admits to not having the whole picture as well as a self-assurance as to who we are in the Lord.
