When we are aware only of the present with its problems, pressures and pleasures, we are susceptible to temptation and bitterness. When we see the big picture–God’s blessings and dealings past, and God’s promises future–we tend to live the present in conformity to His will. The present difficulties impress us for less. (42 min.)
