The widow who kept coming to the judge (Luke 18:1-8) had no options: she had no son, no husband, no inheritance, and no one to care for her. She lived under a reproach, and she knew the judge was the only one who could help her. If at times the Lord does not seem to answer, do not try to find another way. Realize that He is allowing you to enter the realm of the widow, in which there are no options except Him. Do not give up; do not withdraw. Have the faith of the widow who refused to be denied. In this parable, the Lord is showing us how to pray.
