Timothy
There are many similarities between the disciple Timothy and our young people today. To become a faithful ministry, every young child, as with Timothy, needs an impartation of faith in their daily home life, instruction in the Scriptures, and the love of a spiritual father. This message was also printed in the book, Seven Great Young People Of The Bible.
The Weight Of Glory
As we open our heart to the Lord so that His power and glory rests upon us, He allows a corresponding measure of pressure and distress on us that produces a feeling of weakness in us. This experience of weakness under the weight of His glory is God’s way of restricting us so that the flesh does not rise up in pride. We glory in our infirmities, because His power is made perfect in our weakness (II Corinthians 12:9).
