Description

This cassette tape contained the following 2 messages by John Robert Stevens.

WORK OF FAITH AND LABOR OF LOVE–I THESSALONIANS 1:3
September 7, 1974 Saturday A.M. Ana.

This message was unique for the Anaheim Church and it appeared that it was for this church alone. It dealt with the necessary discipline to work faithfully, It was not just a call to fill a labor shortage in the Walk. Dedicated labor is a part of our dedication to the perfect will of God. Although this message was for the Anaheim Church it may be a message that would apply to other churches where a dedication to “work” for the Kingdom is lacking. (58 min.)

Scriptures: I Thess. 1:2-10; Rev. 2:2-3; I Thess. 3:6-15; Heb. 6:12

TITUS, PUT THEM TO WORK
September 8, 1974 Sunday P.M. SoG.

The epistle to Titus teaches definitely that we are saved by the grace of God, not by works. However, the work in sending forth the Word had to be the dedication of the ministries then as now. The world will be reached by a Living Word sent forth by living works. (58 min.)
