Ezra, chapters 7–10 are a restoring of the ministries as the prior chapters were the restoring of the temple. The altar of worship gives way to the pure living sacrifices of His priesthood. The burden of Ezra and the fantastic ministries that developed under him was a preservation of the word that God had given and the development of the ministries of the temple. This parallels the present ministries coming forth. It resembles the sons of the prophets in the earth again with a pure word and pure relationships to the Lord, to each other, and to the world.
