In the Old Testament some sacrifices were completely burned, some were partially eaten by the priests and others were eaten by the worshiper himself. We have an altar where we are encouraged to partake of the whole provision of God totally. “Eat ye all of it.”

The first chapter of John also ends with the words “the Son of Man.” So the chapter begins designating Jesus as God and ends designating Him as the Son of Man. We only understand our Redeemer when we understand how completely He became man and how perfectly we will take on the nature of God. (58 min.)
