We’re just days away from the Feast of Pentecost and I felt it would be important to share this dynamic message from John Robert Stevens from 1976. It inspires our faith to appropriate an infilling of the Holy Spirit, to be vessels of God’s creative power, and to speak His word with boldness.
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
In this message, John challenges us to wait upon the Lord. Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. (Isaiah 40:31)
As we prepare for Pentecost, let us wait before the Lord with great expectancy! Claim God’s promise that He wants to fill you with His power and strength.
I pray that the Body of Christ throughout the world enter into a life-changing Pentecost experience.
