Communion Meditation: Why Do We Go Through A Wilderness?

The purpose of the wilderness that we experience in our walk with God is to teach us survival in the days ahead. He drives us into a corner so we will appropriate more of Him. We learn to lean harder on the Lord, our Beloved, than ever before. Out of it comes real growth in the grace of God. We come to know that in all things, the Lord loves us and is with us.
