These days preceding Pentecost are days of reflection. We pray the Lord’s Prayer, yet how honest are we when we state, “Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth”? The disciples had prayed the Lord’s Prayer many times. In the upper room they were facing the reality of what they had created by their intercession. The Lord had suffered greatly and was crucified and was now gone from them. The question was, could they continue to pray that same prayer with all of their heart and will behind it going forward from that day? You have no idea what the will of God is for you personally, nor do you understand what His Kingdom will mean in your life. Will you be able to entrust your life into His hands? Our will and heart must be brought into alignment with His will and His Kingdom.
