How do we become slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification (Romans 6:19)? Three things are involved: the will, the heart, and the understanding. Set your will to do the will of God. Set your heart to obey Him, even before you understand His will. As you set your will, your heart will respond, and then your understanding will follow.

Momentary Expectation

You must approach your life with the attitude that you are living your life right now. What you want to be in God, be it and walk in it today. Focus on an active faith in the present, rather than a hope for the future. Live with a momentary expectation and appropriation of God every day, moment by moment.
