Conformed To God’s Joy

The joy of the Lord is not optional; we are told by God’s Word to rejoice evermore. Learn to rejoice: by not confusing sorrow with repentance; by constant appropriation of the life of Christ; and by instantly changing your attitude to conform to what God says concerning a matter. Keep your heart open to the joy of the Lord.

And There Arose A Fierce Gale

When you have a meeting with God and step out to walk with Him, a storm of trials and spiritual battles will arise. When the storm hits, you may feel as though God does not care about you. You can become fearful and timid. However, you were called to believe God! Venture out into this walk of the Spirit. Link yourself with the eternal destiny that God is bringing forth in this generation.

The Responsibility To Pray

Murmuring, complaining, and griping are not prayer. Prayer is a personal, direct relationship between you and God. When you pray, focus on the Lord, not on your need. Be specific about what you want; be wholehearted, sincere, and persistent. When you meet these requirements in your prayer, God will answer and your reward will be great.
