Don’t Let Your Deliverance Become Your Bondage
April 19, 2008 Saturday 5:30 PM North Hills, CA
Through the relationship Joseph had with Pharoah, Egypt was one of the greatest miracles of preservation. For some reason, the Israelites let their relationship with Joseph disintegrate, and Egypt became a place of bondage and oppression to them. Tonight, we open our hearts to create relationships with those the Lord is choosing to accomplish His will.

BI-LEVEL LIVING IS DANGEROUS
May 5, 1981 Tuesday A.M. No. H.
In the spiritual warfare in which the shepherds are defending the sheep from the wolves, we need to understand our openness to transference, to assault, and the bonds that drain our life. Living on the plane of flesh as well as spirit leaves us vulnerable. The flesh can cross out the spirit. The wavering prayer crosses out faith and there is no answer. This bi-level living is dangerous. (34 min.)

Here’s a Living Word that lays out simple guidelines and directives in our “con forming to the image of His sons,” Romans 8:29. VOICE IT WITH FAITH
June 10, 1979 Sunday A.M. Ana.
If you voice a need in unbelief or criticism you establish the need and problem. But if you voice a need, pinpointing it with a focus of your faith, you minister life and deliverance into the situation. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks wickedness. WHAT IS A WHORE OF BABYLON?
February 18, 1979 Sunday P.M. Shiloh

YOUR FEELINGS ARE THE FACTS
February 19, 1979 Monday A.M. Shiloh
God looks upon the heart and by Him actions are weighed. The feeling the lust the motivation is deemed in the sight of God to be the equivalent of the act. BEWARE OF GIBEON’S SURRENDER
October 29, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
The biggest deception that comes to you is often from those who pose no threat to you. The Gibeonites came to Joshua with a false submission and became one of the biggest problems. Their submission was based on a self-interest. Here again is a basic principle on spiritual relationships. (40 min.)

WHY WE SUBMIT
October 29, 1978 Sunday A.M. Ana.
There are several types of submission. Some, like Jonah, are submitting under discipline but their heart remains unchanged. Then there are those like the Gibeonites who are submitting for a selfish motive and advantage. They submit to make others responsible for their care. Then there are still others who are submissive without much understanding or dedication and then of course there are those who would be submissive to the Lord but with their conflicting loyalties they try to serve two masters. Lord, we want our worship and submission to be pure. (47 min.)

October 24, 1978 Tuesday P.M. Ana.
This last night of the Feast of Tabernacles was a true day of rejoicing. Jesus’ relatives had no revelation of Him in John 7. In the Kingdom your closest brother in the flesh will not know you nor you know him until a common revelation comes. The rivers of living water come to those who believe and drink. Believe the revelation of the Lord and become a fountain. This ends the Feast of Tabernacles for 1978–or is it just the beginning? (56 min.)

DON’T READ IT, EAT IT!
October 18, 1978 Wednesday P.M. Val.
The word is always the great issue. The battle is not with the circumstances or relationships or problems or weaknesses you face; the battle is with the word and your focus upon it. Don’t merely read it; eat it. Don’t be an explainer of the word; be an oracle of the word. It’s not our opinions or sermons but the predigested word coming forth. (32 min.)

October 19, 1978 Thursday P.M. Ana.
There are many problems to our oneness because every relationship in the Kingdom differs. These differences pose a problem to perfect unity and the performance of the perfect will of God. We must be dedicated and submissive in order to perfectly relate to one another. Only a supreme dedication can surmount the perils in a relationship that is unequal. The answer, of course, is a love that is great enough that it is dedicated. (60 min.)

LIVE ALIVE!!!
October 1, 1978 Sunday P.M. Val.
The awareness of the present, and of all God has given us, and of all the bonds and relationships that we have in Him now is a key to a present living instead of an unfulfilling hope that begs at the gates of the future. Say, “I am blessed.” Don’t say, with misery, “I hope to be blessed.” Drink deeply, with sensitivity of the heady wine cup of today’s people. The Kingdom is a now thing. If you lose the blessings of today’s relationships you will not have the capacity for tomorrow’s fulfillments. Love and enjoy your child today; tomorrow’s joyful memories are based on a diligence to seize moment by moment fulfillments of your faith and love. The exploits and greater works will all be done in a time called today. They will never be in the life of the dreamer who passively withdraws from the exertions of faith today, doing it and believing it now. (24 min.)

TORMENT OR PERFECT LOVE?
April 13, 1978 Thursday A.M. Shiloh
When our love is mingled with fear, we have torment, but when we we are perfected in love, fear is cast out. ARE WE GIVING OUR ALL?
April 8, 1978 Saturday A.M. Shiloh

KORAH HAD RELATIVES
April 16, 1978 Sunday A.M. Wash. Iowa
There are always problems when we relate to one another after the flesh. Korah and some of his family did not see Moses with revelation, but after the flesh. The Lord gave the disciples the Word and that worked to bring them into one. The word is still the unifying agent in the Body. All ministry must be evaluated as a channel of the Living Word and not evaluated on a personal basis. Here is the plumbline that will correct confusion and division over man. We must neither worship a man nor dishonor a channel of His Living Word. (58 min.)

Day by day exposure to the reality of what we are tests even the best relationship. This repetition of exposure on the human level will cause a shallow, immature relationship to deteriorate. This amazing principle was voiced and expounded by an apostolic prophet’s word. Satan has been cast down and wars against us now only on the levels he has left to him. SODOM REPEATED
September 26, 1974 Thursday A.M. Val.
Among several examples given in the book of Jude of moral depravity and subsequent judgments, the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah is sighted in Jude and identified by our Lord as being typical of these days. We contend for the pure faith and the pure righteousness, but we must understand the defiling nature of the Sodom conditions about us. In its frankness perhaps this message should be rated X. The Living Word was established in 1968 out of a vision to capture, preserve, and publish the teachings of John Robert Stevens. Many of Stevens' sermons have been edited and published in books, manuals, and a weekly periodical titled "This Week."
The Living Word continues in its ministry today—carefully preserving and publishing messages taken from the vast library of John Robert Stevens' ministry from 1950-1983, as well as the messages of others who teach and minister the Word.
Thank you for supporting the ministry of The Living Word.
