There is a deep vulnerability in moving by revelation because Satan is able to use revelation to create illusions. By doing so, Satan blocks us from really knowing God, ourselves, and each other. However, even when revelation is not perfect, love never fails. Christ’s love believes all things and surpasses knowledge. We must let go of the partial so that God may replace it with the perfect which is Christ’s love.

When God brings a revelation word to a man he faces two alternatives. First, if he accepts the revelation he must become dedicated to walk in that revelation. The other alternative is his refusal to walk in his revelation and he automatically submits to a measure of deception. The cross is involved in dedication and the disciple “dies” upon the word he receives. Deception will also lead to a death but that is a total spiritual death. (31 1/2 min.)

Each day of the feast required less sacrifices than the day before, for each day their need of purifying diminished. By the day of rejoicing they were ready to press into new levels of service. We are rejoicing in what He has done in us, but we weep before Him that we might rejoice even more. This feast our tears are the meat sandwich between the layers of bread of rejoicing. Abraham, blessed by Melchizedek, saw the Kingdom of God and expressed his faith in giving tithes. Jacob also saw the “ladder” with the heavens open. He proclaimed himself a tither because of this revelation. Thus tithing first came because of faith in the revelation of the Kingdom. Later tithing became a thing of the law.
