Christ means “anointed one.” The proof of His anointing was the signs and wonders He performed. The great Body of Christ has also been anointed for signs and wonders. God wants His people to be dedicated to believe for miracles. The Word cannot be in theory alone; it must be manifested in power.
The Testings And Failures Of Discipleship
Luke chapter 9 lays out the conditions of discipleship, and illustrates the different areas in which the believer is tested and, at times, fails. The three areas of testing are: on the mountaintop, in the valley, and along the roadside. This Word is a beautiful allegory of what happens to you when you set yourself to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.
