Believe Jesus’ Prayer, To Know Him And The Father

God the Father and Jesus knew each other and were one by that relationship. While on earth, Jesus proclaimed that no one knew the Father except the Son, and no one knew the Son except the Father. In John 17:21, however, Jesus prayed that it would not always be that way. He prayed that the Father would be in the Son and the Son would be in the Father, and added that we would be in them. His prayer ended their exclusive relationship by including the believers in their relationship and oneness. If we believe in the prayer of Jesus, we must hunger for its fulfillment: Lord, that we may know You.
