Devout Believer Or Outpouring Receiver?

In the 50 days of devastation between Passover and Pentecost, the disciples were being prepared to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We, too, have been experiencing this same preparation. Did it go deep enough? We do not want to be among the “devout believers” (Acts 2:6) who did not receive the outpouring of the Spirit. Tonight, we cry, “Lord, finish Your work of preparation in us!”
