Equipped And Sent!
Christ required the disciples to remain in Jerusalem following His resurrection so that they would be equipped by the Holy Spirit to become His witnesses. Like the disciples, we must be equipped in order to be true witnesses to our generation. It is the Holy Spirit filling us which teaches us of the Father and allows us to speak as God’s ambassadors, “be reconciled to God”.
