Fear Not Their Fears

In his epistle, Peter speaks to those who had been dispersed in persecution, lost everything, and suffered greatly. In the midst of their suffering, Peter gives wonderful truths that show how they had reached a level in God that few people ever attain. One of these truths is to “fear not their fears” (I Peter 3:14). We are not to have the same fears that the world has. Instead, we sanctify the Lord in our hearts and keep our spirits meek, reverent, and gentle.

The Rhythm Of Spiritual Life

In the natural world, there is a rhythm to life that provides for renewal and rest. We must have the same rhythm in our spiritual life. Learn how to draw strength and life from the Lord, and then give and minister.
