Gifts Of The Spirit

The gifts of the Spirit, such as the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, and the working of miracles, are outlined in I Corinthians chapters 12 and 14. These gifts were not just for ancient apostolic times; they are available and attainable today. We are to earnestly desire and seek the gifts.

I Corinthians 13

I Corinthians chapter 13 talks about the gifts of the Spirit and our need of divine love. Love is a supernatural endowment from God manifested in the believer that will prevail as the Body of Christ comes into maturity.

Sectarianism

The Church is not an organization or a structure; it is a living organism. There is no scriptural authority for sectarianism. Sectarianism is a sin against the headship of Christ. The Church is not to be a multi-headed monstrosity; Christ is to be the only head of the Church. In John chapter 17, Christ prayed that we may be one, even as He and the Father are one.

Going On With God — 7 Keys

This message contains seven keys for going on with God: (1) be in the world, but not of it; (2) always look to God, not to man; (3) make God first, above everything else, in your life; (4) do not depend on your own ability but upon His strength; (5) be active in your prayer life–come to God in Jesus’ name in confidence; (6) determine in your heart to grow and go forward in Christ; and (7) maintain a right spirit in your heart toward the Lord.
