It is very difficult to understand the seeming contradictory nature of the law of God that is in Jesus Christ. He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. Like Jesus, the Church has a two-fold calling: the preaching and upholding of God’s law, and the ministry of the grace of God.
