“We love because He first loved us.” God creates within us the capacity to love. At some point, human love fails; divine love is what we need. The important thing is where we live; we need to make God our abiding place and be filled with His love, so that we react in Him to every situation. An exhortation on how to cope with spiritual warfare preceeds the Word.
Attaining God’s Attributes
God is not trying to reform or discipline your human nature. He wants to produce a new creation, a new life, by communicating His nature to you. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are only a fragmentary manifestation of what He is. What you lack, what you cannot become, you can receive from God. An excerpt from personal ministry regarding the sin of unbelief is also included.
