Legalism Or Grace

Although legalistic discipline and discipline by God’s grace may appear to be the same, the outcomes are very different. With legalism, your human effort fulfills requirements of duty. With grace, God disciplines your open heart, resulting in your walking in His perfect will. It is through the greater discipline by God’s grace that you are able to present yourself as a living sacrifice to Him.
