Lessons From Jehoshaphat’s Famous Victory
The story of Jehoshaphat’s famous victory teaches us two valuable principles. First, God has identified Himself with you. Your battle is His battle. Secondly, our struggle is not to defeat satan, but to appropriate the victory of Christ and to bring that victory into manifestation. “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” (II Chron. 20:17) does not mean that you stand afar off at a safe distance. It means that you will be in the middle of the battle, but you will know that it is God who is giving you the victory. In your complete consecration and dedication to the Lord, you can stand on the front line as a worshiper and open the door of blessings for you and others that follow. This Word brings the Los Angeles churches into greater maturity as New Testament churches who will stand strong even in the midst of Sodom and Gomorrah.
