O Lord, Come!
The prayer “Lord, Come!” was a part of the celebration of the Lord’s Supper in the early church. They believed Jesus would manifest in their midst as they took Communion. Christ’s body and blood was, and is, a means to appropriate His presence, and the fullness of God’s provision.
