Through Christ’s discipling of Peter, a faith was created in Peter that lifted him out of the level of his constant stumblings and into a place where he became a partaker of the divine nature. We, too, must stop wrestling with our flesh nature, and fight the good fight of faith — the faith that believes in the transference of God’s divine nature to us.
