Passover — Delivered To Stand In His Presence

We approach this Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread expecting to enter God’s presence. The Israelites were saved from the death angel in Egypt, but the purpose of Passover was greater than that: they were to go out and worship God and live in His presence. Christ, our Passover, opened the door for us to relate to the Father. We must be bold to enter God’s presence and not shrink away in shame by what we are or are not (I John 2:28). Like Joshua the high priest, we will stand in God’s presence and be transformed (Zechariah 3:1-5).
