Rejoicing With The Thessalonians
We can learn from the Thessalonians. They were persecuted and yet they obeyed the brief little commands Paul gave them: “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (I Thessalonians 5:16-18). Do you complain about how difficult a walk with God is? Make up your mind to rejoice! Rejoicing attracts the blessing of the Lord. The message includes an explanation of the historical context of Paul’s epistle to the Thessalonians, thus giving greater significance to his command to rejoice always.
