The Apostle Peter — God’s Instrument Of Change
The apostle Peter ministered one of the most radical explosive changes that the world had ever known. He opened the door for the Gentiles, who had been excluded and cut off from God, to be grafted into Abraham and God’s chosen people. Yet, God had to work through Peter’s initial resistance to doing something that was so contrary to his orthodox Jewish upbringing. “Do not call unclean what I call clean” (Acts 10:9-17). Peter was obedient to God and moved by faith to change the course of the Church. Today, we must allow the Holy Spirit to shake us out of our reluctance and resistance. We believe to be ready and willing, instruments led by the Holy Spirit that God can use to accomplish His will in the earth in our generation.
