The Salvation And Strength Of The Lamb
To serve God there are two things that are necessary: salvation and strength. The Passover lamb brought both of these things to the Israelites. The blood of the lamb represented salvation from judgment. The strength of the lamb enabled them to get up and leave Egypt behind forever. Every Lord’s Day, we are keeping the Passover. This communion service was an hour of judgment.
We Must Come Into The Rest Of The Lord
We are in a time of transition. We have to come into the rest of the Lord or we are going to become absorbed in the spiritual battle. We have to live in God; He has to become our refuge, our dwelling place. We must learn to live joyfully in His presence, no matter what is coming against us. Our individual deliverance, and the future of this church, is dependent on our worship of the Lord.
