The book of Titus emphasizes the importance of sound teaching, order in the local church, and the living works which are to flow out from a New Testament church.

Philemon

Paul’s letter to Philemon is his personal plea on behalf of the runaway slave, Onesimus. This epistle displays the wisdom of God in establishing the various relationships in the Body of Christ. In this epistle, we see the way that the early Church established their relationships with one another according to the call of God upon an individual and not according to his social position.
