We are at the time when we will receive fulfillment of the promises of God, along with the men and women of faith who ran the race before us. Now it is our turn to finish the race. We must press on with steadfastness and boldness, keeping our eyes on Jesus and looking to Him for strength.

Simeon had three qualities that enabled him to recognize God’s calling on the infant Jesus: a great anointing, a great revelation, and a guidance of the Holy Spirit. We need these same characteristics so that we also can recognize Christ as He now comes forth in His Body.
